Hometown Pride for Anaheim from Gus
We're excited to share that Torch Tattoo artist Gustavo Jaimes has partnered with the Anaheim Ducks for their upcoming Día de los Muertos celebration . His distinctive artwork beautifully merges hockey culture with traditional Día de los Muertos elements, creating something truly special for this cultural celebration!
The collection features the Ducks' mascot reimagined through Gus's artistic lens, incorporating sugar skull designs, vibrant marigolds, and intricate patterns that showcase his talent for clean, bold linework. His designs will be featured on event merchandise, including a limited edition trucker hat collaboration with HERDEZ and official merchandise will be available in the team store.
You can experience the celebration and see Gus's work in person this Sunday, November 3, at 5:00 PM at the Honda Center. The event, presented by Southern California McDonald's, promises to be a wonderful celebration of both hockey and cultural traditions.
For those interested in working with Gus, he continues to take appointments here at Torch Tattoo. His portfolio extends well beyond this collaboration, encompassing various styles while maintaining his signature attention to detail and precise linework.
